The preschool program here at St. Joseph Parish is intended to introduce our young brothers and sisters in Christ to the parables of Jesus and the doctrine of the Church in ways that make sense to them; through story-telling. Stories of God’s Love is the curriculum used and each week a new story is read to the children and discussed. There are activity sheets that come home with the children each week in their folders so parents may understand and discuss with them the various concepts introduced at each session. There is also a community gathering time where preschool, kindergarten and first grade students come together to discuss a topic related to what was covered in class and to sing praise to God. Please be sure that your child is potty-trained before entering the preschool program. The preschool program is offered at Disciple House on the Country Church campus during both the 9am and 11am Mass on Sundays, and at the Parish Center on the Village Church campus on Tuesday afternoons from 3:45pm-5:15pm and on Wednesday afternoons from 5pm-6:30pm.
