God has bestowed upon his people the gift of song. God dwells within each human person, in the place where music takes its source. Indeed, God, the giver of song, is present whenever his people sing his praises. - Sing to the Lord: Music in Divine Worship
The music we sing and play is one of the most important parts of our liturgical celebrations. It moves us, uplifts us and inspires us. It is also one of the important ways that we pray and build a relationship with God. (see Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1156-1158)
We are always looking for more people to join the music ministry! If you are interested in joining us, please take a moment to browse the "Ways to Get Involved" page. At the bottom of that page, you can fill in your name and contact information, and indicate in which way(s) you would like to become involved (example: Cantor, St. Joseph Choir, Instrumentalist, etc.)
