CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD

Preschool & Kindergarten

In 2017, we introduced a new program for our young brothers and sisters (preschool and kindergarten) called Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. "This Montessori-based program includes the atrium, a place of prayer, meditation, and contemplation. It is a place in which the only Teacher is Christ and both the children and adults place themselves in a listening stance before his Word. The themes presented in the atrium are those to which the children have responded with depth and joy. These themes are taken from the Bible and the liturgy (prayer and sacraments) as the fundamental sources for creating and sustaining Christian life at every developmental stage and, in particular, for illuminating and nourishing the child in his/her most vital religious needs." Please click here for more information about this exciting program.

Please be sure that your child is at least 3 years old by September 1st and potty-trained before entering this program. It is offered at Disciple House on the Country Church campus during both the 9am and 11am Mass on Sundays, 3:45pm on Tuesdays, and 10am on Thursdays.
